It's time for the segment that's so popular the Reapers copy & paste to their forum (and mistakenly give the credit to BravosWorld ).....it's the DLMC News!
(Thanks to futuregame for the image!)
- I do have to start this post on a sad note, as my real-life wife Turpsichord has decided to leave the DLMC. While I won't get into specific details as to why she left, it boiled down to her feeling left out during crew gatherings, not being the best when it came to marksmanship (by her own admittance), & not wanting to live with just being "themister's wife". She's still cool with a few select crew members so please say a quick hello to her if you see her in a random lobby.
- We have seen quite the influx of new recruits recently. Of course, this is a positive piece of business that can only help to strengthen our crew. I encourage everybody to assist new members & welcome them into the DLMC with open arms. Johnny & myself have been working together on bringing in new recruits & making sure that they understand the rules & regulations as posted on this forum.
- As everybody should know by now, Rockstar Games finally addressed the hacker/cheater/modder issues & took the necessary steps to try to prevent this from happening in the future. As a personal side note, I'm happy that they took the glitched money I received as I have found myself enjoying the game again the same way I did when it first came out.
- The PSN Chapter is starting to rise from the ashes left behind in the wake of acedia & crew's sudden departure. Johnny has been working with various PSN members to resurrect the Chapter & the results have so far been wonderful. kingzricky deserves a lot of credit as he has almost single-handedly restored the Chapter back to its' former glory.
- We have seen a lot of crews request truces and/or alliances with the DLMC in recent times. It's important to remember that even if anybody agrees or communicates with a rival crew member regarding an alliance or truce, or if they personally believe that a truce would be beneficial to the DLMC, only Johnny can make the final call. Please message Johnny or myself regarding any requests & we'll handle them as they come.
- A lot of other motorcycle crews schedule occasional crew meetings (referred to as "Church") to discuss crew business, air out grievances, & attend to other matters. I feel that we should maintain, at the very least, one meeting a week for such affairs. Johnny & myself have discussed this & I would like to see if there is a certain day of the week that works for everybody. Please spread the word to all crew members. kingzricky would be your main contact point for the PSN Chapter in regards to setting weekly meetings up.
- Once again, I remind everybody to have the DLMC as their active crew & to hit up the Social Club to ensure that everybody's gamer tags are visible to everyone. I've had to kick crew members (after a week-long grace period after I message them reminding them of the rules) for representing other crews, especially ones who were representing rival bike crews. If you are confused on how to accomplish this in the Social Club, message myself or Johnny & we will be more than happy to assist.
- Usually, we find ourselves in a lobby by ourselves, & sometimes hijinks ensue where we're killing each other or blowing up each others' vehicles. While I can understand that it's all in fun & there's no hard feelings, we do need to refrain from excessive crew-on-crew violence as the money does pile up for vehicle repairs, medical bills, & ammunition. If anybody is caught doing this during battle with a rival crew (when we need everybody on board & on the same page), they will be kicked & banned from the DLMC.
That's it.....a pretty simple news report this time around. Much love to my brothers & sisters for continuing to represent the Death Lords.
